Victoria Beckham has shared she’s self conscious about her eyebrows due to years of overplucking, sharing what they look like for the first time, revealing husband David hasn’t even seen her ‘real’ brows before
Victoria Beckham says husband of 24 years David has never seen her without her eyebrows done.
The fashion designer, 49, said she is self conscious about her brows due to overplucking, as she shared how she gets them looking flawless every morning.
Victoria, who shares four children with ex footballer David, 49, posted a video on her Instagram account of herself wearing a white robe and minimal make-up, as she spoke about using the Baby Blade from her VictoriaBeckhamBeauty line.
The Spice Girl told her fans: “This is the first time I have ever let anyone see me without my brows on. Even my own husband never sees me without my brows on.
“It’s just my thing, it’s something I’m almost quite self-conscious about. Over-plucking has left me with quite gappy brows if you can see, a few missing either side. Like I said, too much plucking has really left me quite self-conscious about my brows to be completely honest.”
The star then went into detail about her brows, saying: “I want you to see how gappy my brows really are, I have so many missing hairs. I have nothing on these brows at the moment, but you can see how much I have to fill them in and level them out.”
Earlier this week, Victoria wishes David happy 49th birthday in a heartfelt post.
The former popstar wished her husband many happy returns of the day with a recent video of them salsa dancing.
Captioning the clip in which dad-of-four holds his wife on the dance floor, Victoria wrote: “You are our everything. We love soooooo much @brooklynpeltzbeckham, @romeobeckham, @cruzbeckham, @harperseven.”
She then shared a photo in which she lays her head on David’s foot with the caption: “Love you this much.”
Victoria celebrated her birthday last month and was praised by her husband of 24 years for being “amazing”.
Sharing a throwback snap of the couple in which he kisses his wife on the nose, David wrote: “Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife and mummy x someone who inspires us every single day we love you and you deserve to have the most perfect day happy Birthday.”
Fans will get an insight into the couple’s relationship in a new documentary which shows David as a house-proud husband.
The multi-part series, which focuses on the ex-England star’s career, is coming to Netflix this year and will “go beyond the shine of stardom”.
A teaser clips show Becks moan he has to “tidy up” around the house after his family all go to bed.
David, who has discussed being diagnosed with OCD in the past, then cleans the kitchen so it is spotless.
Opening up about his routine, he says: “It’s tiring going round every single candle cleaning it, clipping the wick. I clip the candle wicks. I clean the glass. That’s my pet hate, the smoke around the inside of the candle. I know it’s weird.”
